Rockford-Montgomery Labs Awards $65 Million Launch to ASG, Inc.
In a bold move today bucking traditional
"old-school" advertising agency pitches, Rockford-Montgomery Labs, Inc. has
selected an obscure start-up advertising agency ASG, Inc., which stands for
Air, Sea & Ground, to manage its $65 million dollar brand launch in
February, 2007.
"ASG has the most creative brand minds of all the companies we visited.
Their foresight and full understanding that our target market does not
watch or listen to television commercials anymore due to TIVO, satellite
radio and commercial-free downloaded music, was the reason they were the
best fit for us. We went to the largest agencies initially with our brand
and the traditional billboard, bus stop, TV and radio commercials just did
not make sense for the 18-28 demographic anymore. ASG has secured several
marketing icons for us including the SKYSCREEN® Blimp which has a 30' x
70' High Resolution Video Screen, Full-Sponsorship of a NASCAR NEXTEL CUP
SERIES race team starting in 2007-2009 and several other interactive
marketing assets that are being kept under wrap," said Michelle Shearer,
Rockford-Montgomery's CEO & President.

"We are very excited to be associated to this company and their new brand
of products. We fully understand the youth of today was brought up speaking
digital, has a huge translation difference from our generation, has
unlimited wireless media available in their pocket and the immediate
importance of seamlessly integrating a brand to specific ethnicities,
especially the strong Hispanic population in the US. Our fresh view of the
playing field is our greatest strength as a company, and after we launch
Rockford-Montgomery's new brand in February, it will be obvious where other
agencies fall short of the goal line. We focus primarily on assets and
strategies that have never been seen before that have a high-impact on
consumer awareness," said ASG's Vice President, Christina Citro at her
Bishop, GA office this morning.
Rockford-Montgomery Labs and ASG decline to announce what product brand
they will be launching in February, 2007, however, when they do ASG
promises that you will know about it.
Rockford-Montgomery Labs is also the exclusive distributor for RACE FACE
Sunscreen, officially licensed by NASCAR, which is available in Tony
Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Kasey Kahne variations. Rockford-Montgomery Labs
currently markets the RACE FACE brand as an associate sponsor of the #4
AERO Exhaust Morgan-McClure Chevrolet in the NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES.
