Rockford-Montgomery Labs to Launch Their "SKYSCREEN" Blimp, the First "TV in the SKY" in the United States
Rockford-Montgomery Labs, Inc., a pharmaceutical
manufacturing and distribution company, has signed an agreement with The
Lightship Group, Inc., securing their place in history by making a
significant technological leap forward in the 100 year history of
lighter-than-air flying and marketing.
In February 2007, Rockford-Montgomery will christen and set in flight their
SKYSCREEN(TM) blimp, the first high resolution full-motion, full-color
video LED screen ever flown in the US. It will be fitted for HD Broadcast
Cameras to be used for aerial filming of spectator sports and televised
events.

The SKYSCREEN floats 1000 feet in the air, is 178 feet long and travels at
15 MPH. It doesn't say "Goodyear," "Coca-Cola" or "Budweiser" on the side,
but instead flashes Rockford-Montgomery products TV commercials, NASCAR,
NFL and College football highlights, movie trailers, music videos, text
messaging promotions, instant replays from their stadium broadcasts below,
live telecasting or whatever else the company wants to put on their
30-by-70-foot LED high-resolution SKYSCREEN. The content being displayed on
the SKYSCREEN can be simulcast to listeners tuning in on the ground over
local airwaves or by digital satellite.
"It totally rises above the clutter because this is the only one of its
kind in the United States," said Toby Page, The Lightship Group Marketing
Director. "It's never been seen before, so it gets a huge amount of
attention."
Rockford-Montgomery is not disclosing what products will be displayed on
their SKYSCREEN or what the actual color scheme or product will be on the
airship's envelope until February when they plan to go public, but be
assured that when they do, you will know.
"We are excited to add the SKYSCREEN AIRSHIP to our marketing arsenal. We
are working very diligently with ASG, our advertising agency to secure the
best marketing assets and icons available today to drive our niche market
brands to the forefront of mass retail distribution. Rockford-Montgomery is
in a very strong position with our new brand icon and we are proud to be
associated with this historical event by acquiring the first SKYSCREEN in
the United States," said Michelle Shearer, CEO and President of
Rockford-Montgomery Labs, Inc.
It was also announced today that Agility Sports, Inc., has selected
Rockford-Montgomery Labs, Inc., as their exclusive United States
distributor of its officially licensed NASCAR® RACE FACE(TM) Brand
premium sunscreen products which include licensed versions from Tony
Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne and NASCAR. NASCAR RACE FACE is also a
FDA Over-the-Counter (OTC) Approved product. Rockford-Montgomery is an
associate sponsor of the Aero Exhaust #4 Morgan-McClure Chevrolet in the
NASCAR NEXTEL CUP Series specifically for their RACE FACE brand.
