New Cross-border Advisory Firm Helps Unlock Indian Business Opportunities

  Share With Friends

4th July, 2006 - As the Indian economy continues to grow at 8% per year, an India-focused cross-border advisory firm, IndusView, is officially launched today. Jointly headquartered in New Delhi and London, with a further presence in Boston, San Francisco, Mumbai and Bangalore, IndusView will be uniquely placed to help UK companies navigate the Indian market and take advantage of the huge investment opportunities within this growing economic powerhouse.

Until now, many Western companies looking to invest in the World's second fastest growing economy have not maximised their potential due to a lack of real insight and understanding of the inherent challenges of operating in India.

As an Indian company, with international scope, IndusView understands the needs of Western companies seeking to enter India.

Bundeep Singh Rangar, IndusView's Chairman, said: "India is now a central component in the business strategies of many major UK and European companies. To unlock the full potential that India offers, you need to straddle both the Indian and European landscapes. IndusView has the expertise to do this, and can be the key to unlock the real business potential."

India is poised to become the world's third largest economy and IndusView has been created as a response to the growing demand by foreign investors for home grown partners who can advise them across the complete business cycle drawing on unique local knowledge, contacts and global experience.

The new company will advise multinational and blue-chip companies on business opportunities within the world's fast growing economy, helping them tap into customers and markets in even the remotest areas of this vast country. IndusView will advise clients on sectors including telecommunications, financial services, retail, technology, property and business process outsourcing

Excellent local and national market and sector knowledge, allied to a network of established relationships in business and government mean IndusView will be able to ease the complex path of cross-border transactions.

IndusView's three founders, Manish Gupta, Managing Director, Rishi Sahai Director, and Bundeep Singh Rangar, Chairman, have more than five decades of cumulative investment banking and operational experience in large financial institutions across the world. The team's vast experience in transactions and consulting experience gives IndusView extensive knowledge and capabilities to process manage large M&A or growth capital transactions and deep industry research.

IndusView launches with several blue chip clients already onboard. These clients include Experian Ltd, Bloomberg LP, Sage Plc, Mobissimo, Global Healthline Ltd, and Ticonderoga Capital, all major companies who are already benefiting from IndusView's Indian insight.

"IndusView can provide access to the right people and market intelligence on India that most foreign companies can't tap into. Whether it's meeting with a CEO or assistance with a negotiation, IndusView makes things happen in India," said Graham Walkden, Director of Business and Strategy at Sage Plc.
