Crossfire War - Fighting and Infilitration in Kashmir Continue

Night Watch: SRINAGAR - Reuters reports that for the second time in three days there was another infilitration attempt by Islamic militants crossing from Pakistan occupied Kashmir across the Line of Control into India's part of the disputed province. The action took place in Baramulla north of the summer capital Srinagar. Four militants were killed. Indian Army spokesman Hemant Joneja said, "The infilitration has picked up, it is every year in June and July when the incursions start and this year is no different." On Friday eight Islamic militants were killed and in other action today four more were killed in gunbattles around the region. [

In the meantime the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service [PAKTRIBUNE] has stated that during the month of June 81 Kashmiri's were killed, martyred by Indian occupation troops. The Media Service added that during the month 648 persons were tortured or critically injured, 312 people arrrested, 23 houses and structures damaged or destroyed, 17 women were widowed, 35 children were orphaned and 10 women were raped or molested by Indian troops.
