Columbus IT today announced the establishment of three offices in Latin America - Mexico, Brazil and Chile. This transaction strengthens Columbus' geographical presence, to encompass 26 countries, including five countries in Latin America.

Columbus’ strategies are to invest in new markets, to expand geographical presence to work with international customers and to operate in all primary developed and emerging markets. Latin America is a fast-growing market, and its business opportunities are very attractive.

Columbus IT Mexico is founded after the acquisition of 51 percent of the Mexican consulting company Spade S.A. de C.V. and will be based on the partnership between Columbus IT International and Spade.

After acquiring 51 percent of the Brazilian consulting company Capston, the partnership of Columbus IT International and Capston results in Columbus IT Brazil.

Backed by a team with experience from the HP and SAP worlds, Spade S.A. de C.V. is a profitable consulting company with more than ten years of experience in the Mexican IT market.
