Vemics Announces Appointment of Managing Director of Sales

Will Target Financial Services, Legal and Allied Health/Medical Markets

Vemics, Inc. (OTC: VMCI), a leading provider of hosted, real-time conferencing and collaboration applications, announces the appointment of Charles L. McCain as Managing Director of Sales.

Mr. McCain's previous experience includes 22 years of success as a senior sales, relationship and sales management executive in the financial services industry. In all of his positions, he has grown revenue consistently and substantially.

Most recently Mr. McCain was Managing Director, Sales at Cannon Financial Institute--the premier consultants and educators to the world's top wealth advisors and Vemics' customer and channel partner. Mr. McCain was responsible for acquiring and managing many of the firm's largest accounts and helped achieve record sales growth.

Mr. McCain began his career as a stock and bond broker with Shearson Lehman Brothers in Palm Beach where he built a book of high net worth clientele. He then joined the Private Client Group of Bankers Trust Company of New York as Vice President for Sales in their Palm Beach office.

In 1994, Mr. McCain was appointed Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing for the Trust and Investment Management Group of SunTrust Bank in South Florida where he managed ten senior sales people and three marketing employees. Mr. McCain is an expert on energy efficiency and has consulted to the Energy Star Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
