Well-known Los Angeles on-air personality Lara Scott will join 95.9 KFSH-FM The Fish on Tuesday, May 9, in the key midday time-slot. Scott's most recent on-air position was with Star 98.7, where she aired in the midday time slot since March 2000.

"I have always been a huge fan of Lara's on air work, and when I discovered that she's also a big Fish fan, we knew we had the perfect match," said Chuck Tyler, director of programming for 95.9 KFSH-FM. "We all look forward to her connecting every day with our growing workday audience."

Scott's other accomplishments include hosting a weekly syndicated international countdown radio program, The World Chart Show. She can be heard on Delta Radio's in-flight programming and she as recently honored to be selected to record the in-flight programming for Air Force One. Her previous on-air radio jobs include nighttime air personality at KZQZ San Francisco. Additionally, she was the afternoon drive host at KIOI in the Bay Area.

According to Scott, "I love the music and The Fish lifestyle, and am excited to join the team. The station reflects my faith and values and I look forward to being able to combine my passion for radio with the positive music and message of The Fish. It's been a great six years at Star, but I'm looking forward to this new season in my life."
