Emerson Radio Announces Promotion of Vice President of Sales Following Announced Departure of President of Sales Subsidiary
Emerson Radio Corp. (AMEX: MSN) announced
today that it has promoted Robert Bandel to the position of Senior Vice
President of Sales of the Company's sales subsidiary, Emerson Radio
Consumer Products Corporation ("Products"), following the announcement of
Patrick Murray, the President of Products, that he intends to pursue other
interests outside the industry.
Mr. Bandel has been the Vice President of Sales of Products since January
17, 2003 and previously held the title of National Sales Manager since
re-joining Emerson in May 2001. Prior to joining Emerson, Mr. Bandel held
the position of Vice President of National Accounts for Motion Systems,
from 1999-2001, and prior thereto had worked for Emerson as Vice President
of National Accounts, from 1996-1997, and before as a sales manager from
1989 to 1993.
Geoffrey Jurick, the Company's President, commented that, "Mr. Bandel is a
