THE FIGHT NEVER ENDS-Canada Pays Tribute to George Chuvalo in Support of George Chuvalo's Fight Against Drugs Sponsored by Sentry Select Capital Corp.

More than 800 people will gather this Tuesday, May 9th to pay tribute to former heavyweight boxing champion George Chuvalo. It will be a celebration of his illustrious career, and more importantly his fight against drugs - the very scourge that destroyed his family and threatens thousands more.

This will be an extraordinary event and we would like you to join us and be in George's corner.

All proceeds raised will be used by George's charity Fight Against Drugs to directly reach out with an anti-drug, pro-education, pro-family message to 50,000 teens a year across the country in elementary and high schools, First Nations communities, Young Offenders centres and social service agencies.

In attendance will be celebrity guests including Darryl Sittler, Frank Mahovlich, Fergie Jenkins, Olympic medalists Anne Ottenbrite and Egerton Marcus, Carmen Basilio, Team Canada '72 Members Rod Seiling and Ron Ellis, Ronnie Hawkins, Sandy Hawley, Spider Jones, Rod Black, Angelo Mosca, Peter C. Newman, June Callwood, Eddie Shack, Marcel Dionne, and Bert Sugar (Master of Ceremonies). Also in attendance will be Hon. Stockwell Day, Hon. Monte Kwinter, Hon. Sandra Pupatello, Toronto Police Chief William Blair and York Region Chief Armand LaBarge. The sheer breadth of celebrities speaks to the immense affection Canadians have for George - he truly is a man of the people.

The evening is sponsored by Sentry Select Capital Corp., and is chaired by John Driscoll, President and CEO of Sentry Select. Honorary Co-Chairs are Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, who will be sending greetings.

The evening will feature silent and live auctions (including a Rolling Stones autographed guitar, autographed gloves and robe from Muhammad Ali, autographed gloves from George Foreman, and luxury villa in Anguilla). Entertainment will be provided by tenor Michael Burgess and award-winning country singer Jason McCoy.
