Talking with Heroes Show Supports Our Troops and Families
Bob Calvert, TalkingWithHeroes.com
What we do with the Talking with Heroes www.talkingwithheroes.com talk show is not about politics. It is all about supporting our troops and their families. I started the Talking with Heroes Talk Show Dec. 11, 2005. You can go back and see who all our previous guests have been in our "past shows/archives" section of our website or you can click here to go right to that page:

I have been privileged to have interviewed almost 20 men and women in different branches of the military who have all shared stories of helping the people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, The Gulf in America and other areas of the world in which our military serve. We believe that the American people deserve to and want to hear these mostly unheard stories. We also believe our Military personnel have a right to have a platform to share these stories. These interviews will be available soon in a New CD collection that will be a fund raiser.

I am privileged to interview incredible Americans... military personnel, organizations, companies, entertainers and others who are doing great things to support our troops. Last nights talk show motivated me to send out an email to all of you. We had Eileen Ponte on with Exeter Jewelers in New Hampshire talking about the Soldier Hug Collection and the Soldiers Hug Collection. Eileen offered a special 20% discount for listeners of this program.
We had Drew Meyers with recruitmilitary.com talking about jobs for our military personnel when they decide to go back to the civilian world and more. We had Amy Palmer with Operation HomeFront and CINcHouse talking about supporting our troops and also helping our military personnel and their families when they need help back here in America. They also helped many families who were victims of Katrina.
Then we had 10 year old Rachel and 8 year old Kelsi Okun and their mom and dad Bob and Deanna. Folks I would highly encourage you to list to last nights talk show. Listen to what these 10 and 8 year old sisters did with an idea they had to raise Scholarship money for 1,000 of our soldiers children with a unique educational Treasure Hunt on the Internet. To those of you in the military who have children, you might want to listen to this. To those of you with Military Support and Veterans Groups... you might want to listen to this so you can let the military personnel who you support know about this so that they can register their children for a scholarship. This will be a fun event that I am convinced many Americans will participate in. You can hear last nights talk show by clicking on
