Digital Deck Further Strengthens Management Team Adding Sales and Marketing Executives
Executives Bring Expertise and Vision Gained From Roles at Leading Consumer Electronics and Home Networking Companies
Digital Deck(TM), the leading provider of

home, has extended its management team to include two new vice presidents
who bring a wealth of experience in the sales and marketing of innovative
home network-attached entertainment products. Paul Malmquist has been
hired as the Vice President of Sales, while Joe Harris has evolved his
consulting position to officially be named Vice President of Marketing for
the company.

Paul Malmquist, Vice President of Sales
Paul Malmquist has joined Digital Deck as vice president of sales. In his
more than fifteen years of leadership in sales, marketing, and management,
Malmquist has achieved notable results in helping companies proactively
develop relationships with partners and clients alike.
Prior to coming to Digital Deck, Malmquist served as vice president, client
services / product sales at Metron North America where he managed the
relationships for TiVo, XM Radio and Westinghouse Digital. Malmquist was
responsible for both client services and product sales. In addition,
Malmquist has held director positions at a number of industry-leading
companies including Philips, America Online and U.S. Satellite
Broadcasting.
Malmquist earned a BS in Business Administration/Finance from the
University of Tennessee.
Joe Harris, Vice President of Marketing
Joe Harris has been hired on as vice president of marketing for Digital
Deck, after holding that position on a contract basis. Harris has two
decades of experience in companies working with high technology and media
companies and is highly recognized for his marketing, product marketing and
market development efforts
Prior to joining Digital Deck, Harris was vice president of marketing at
Orb Networks, and has held senior management and marketing roles for TiVo,
Apple Computer and TV Guide On Screen. During his 12-year tenure at Apple,
he launched the new affordable entry-level Macintosh CPUs in the U.S.
market. At TV Guide On Screen, Harris developed one of the first
commercially available interactive program guides for television, and
launched the world's first PVR service while at TiVo.
Harris has also held management positions a number of start-up companies,
including @Home Network and Telocity, as well as with other leading-edge
high-tech companies, including NEC.
Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the State
University of New York, College at Brockport.
