Ascade Further Strengthens Its Leading Position in Europe With Lietuvos Telekomas Contract

Ascade, the global market-leader in Business Operations Systems managing the telecom carrier supply chain of trading and exchanging voice traffic, today announced an important agreement with Lietuvos Telekomas, the incumbent carrier of Lithuania, for deployment of Carrier Cockpit(TM) to optimize and automate the end-to-end international carrier business process at Lietuvos Telekomas.

The agreement further strengthens Ascade's position as the clear market leader in the Central and Eastern European market and with this contract in place, Ascade also emphasizes its dominance in Baltic region, having deployed Carrier Cockpit(TM) at the incumbent carriers in each of the Baltic States.

The deployed solution will include functionality to support the end-to-end process at Lietuvos Telekomas, from buying, routing and MML generation for the international gateways, to advanced tools to support the wholesale sales process and the unique reporting capabilities of Carrier Cockpit(TM).

Using Carrier Cockpit(TM), Lietuvos Telekomas will be able to continue to expand its international wholesale business as well as ensure the delivery of high quality services to its customers in the private and enterprise markets. Lietuvos Telekomas will furthermore be able to analyze the true margin per call for customers and products thus dramatically increasing the control of margins in its wholesale business.
