Lotus Public Relations and Young Venture Capital Society Host PR Boot Camp
Learn How to Permeate the News Cycle and Drive Sales with Media Coverage

WHAT: Lotus Public Relations www.lotus-pr.com takes you
through an intensive training workshop in public
relations and working with the media. Join drill
sergeants Susan Lindner and Chris Capra, president and
director of Lotus Public Relations, as they discuss
the benefits of an effective PR campaign in driving
sales for start-up companies. Attendees will gain
insight into how to start their own PR initiatives,
and to begin working with a PR agency to expand their
press coverage.
Kimberly Meyers, director of marketing for XMPie, a
venture-backed software company in NYC, will join
Lotus Public Relations for the Q&A session. Kimberly
will answer questions about XMPie's experience using
PR as an effective sales and marketing tool over the
past year and a half. She will provide a client
perspective on the PR process and the interaction
necessary to maintain a positive working relationship
with a PR firm that produces tangible results.
