Shinedown Returns to the Road to Co-Headline Equinox Tour; Late Late Show Appearance Set for April 14th

Atlantic recording group Shinedown returns to the road next week for a new series of live dates in support of their latest album, "US AND THEM." The Equinox tour, co-headlined by Trapt, is the follow-up to this winter's sold-out SnoCore tour with Seether.

The Jacksonville-based band will kick off the trek on April 19th in Johnstown, PA at the UPJ Sports Arena (see attached itinerary). The dates will continue across the country through a May 24th show at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. Support for the tour includes new Atlantic artists Halestorm and Mercy Fall.

"Save Me," the first single from "US AND THEM," was a certified smash at radio, going #1 across all rock formats. The album's second single, "I Dare You," has already hit the top 5 on both the mainstream and active rock charts and has bulleted into the top 20 on the alternative chart. "I Dare You" was also the featured song for WWE's "Wrestlemania 22" and Shinedown will be performing the song live on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (CBS) on Friday, April 14th. The band previously appeared as the musical guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (ABC) back in October and will follow up the "Late Late Show" with a performance on "CD USA" (DirecTV) on April 16th.

With their Atlantic debut, "LEAVE A WHISPER," Shinedown established themselves as a major new force in modern rock 'n' roll. The album featured a trio of top 5 rock radio smashes: "Fly From The Inside," "45," and "Simple Man." Certified RIAA platinum certified for sales exceeding one million, "LEAVE A WHISPER" held the #1 spot on SoundScan's "Alternative New Artists" chart, while also reaching the Top 5 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" ranking of new and developing artists.

Shinedown followed the album's release with nearly two years of non-stop touring, earning a reputation as one of today's most compelling live outfits. The band headlined shows across the country, in addition to tours alongside such names as Van Halen, 3 Doors Down, Tantric, and others.

Shinedown is: Brent Smith - vocals; Jasin Todd - guitars; Brad Stewart - bass; Barry Kerch - drums. For more information on the band, please visit www.shinedown.com.
