Crosspoint Group, Inc. Subsidiary, Lectrique Solaire, Completes Installation Of Unique Solar Solutions In Tchula, Mississippi

MANDEVILLE, La. (EWORLDWIRE) Apr 7, 2006

Lectrique Solaire Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Crosspoint Group, Inc. , today announced that it has entered into a major solar contract with Tchula, Mississippi.

The city of Tchula systems provides street and security lighting, as well as traffic control lighting, which are driven by the custom design solar powered units called the WASP, or HORNET Generators. These units all have the unique “BOS” Balance Of System Technology, designed by Sammy Germany CEM/MBA/PhD(c)ME, of the Crosspoint Group.

"Contracts are to be used in lighting the public buildings, parking areas and public parks within the city,” stated Mayor Yvonne Brown. The mayor also explained that the solar powered "High Security Lighting System" will be a strong deterrent to crime as it provides remote camera surveillance capability, which can be effectively monitored by the city police and law enforcement. This project also includes the installation of safe lighting in parking lots, coupled with remote lighting systems for parks and other public facilities in Tchula, Mississippi. The mayor stated, “After the lighting systems were installed, we were all skeptical of the installation and bright lights needed to do this job. After the first few days of monitoring, the bright white lights are more than ample lighting for our crime deterrent needs."

"The Tchula installation is our first completed solar installation," said Donald Gay, CEO of Crosspoint Group, Inc. "There are additional potential solar contracts that we will close over the near term and these are available to our company primarily because of our proprietary designs."

Forward-looking statements in this press release are made pursuant to the "safe harbor" provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Investors are cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties, including without limitation, continued acceptance of CPGP's products, increased levels of competition, new products and technological changes, CPGP's dependence on third-party suppliers.
