Pearl Jam Announces Second Leg of U.S. Tour

Tour Includes Special Guests Robert Pollard and Sonic Youth Plus Four Special Shows With Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Pearl Jam announced today the second leg of their 2006 U.S. tour in support of their new, self-titled album due out May 2. Leg two is scheduled to kick off on June 23 in Pittsburgh, PA and will finish on July 22 in George, WA.

Public on-sale dates and ticket information will be announced in local markets in the coming weeks.

** Pearl Jam's July 9 Los Angeles concert went on sale Saturday, April 1 and sold out. A second show has been added for July 10.

The first single off of Pearl Jam's forthcoming album, "World Wide Suicide," is at its third week at the #1 position on the modern rock radio chart. Rolling Stone gave "World Wide Suicide" 4 stars and described the single as, "[a] furious but melodic anti-war tune...careening Pete Townshend-esque power vocal chords...."
