Base responds to C-5 crash

An Air Force C-5 Galaxy crashed at 6:30 a.m. EDT here today.

Seventeen people were onboard the aircraft and their condition is unknown at this time. Emergency crews - including firefighters, medics and security forces - are on scene.

A board of Air Force officers will investigate the cause of the accident.
