SSWM Mexico Subsidiary Proposal Backlog Surpasses $14 Million
Government Officials Reviewing Proposals Prior to Contract Approval
Sub-Surface Waste Management of Delaware, Inc.
(OTC BB: SSWM), announced that its Mexico subsidiary company Environmental
Tec International, S.A. de C.V. (ETI), has over $14 Million USD in written
and submitted proposals awaiting contract approvals through ETI teaming
arrangement with the Zaragoza Graduate School of Studies of the National
Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The proposal backlog is in
addition to the existing $1.5MM of current work in progress in Mexico.
Bruce Beattie, CEO of SSWM stated, "Since the first of this year ETI and
its professional staff working with Dr. Ricardo Lorden and UNAM have been
invited by state government officials to review site data and participate
on project site walks for seven (7) substantial clean-up projects each with
follow on expanded scope of work potentials to assess known releases of
toxics that exceed regulatory standards and require accurate assessment to
characterize the extent of contamination prior to submitting a work plan
for site remediation."
Beattie concluded, "State government officials are showing increased
confidence in the ETI/UNAM teaming arrangement as they continue to request
proposals for pressing environmental problems including emergency response
solutions. As we process these requests, perform the site walks, analyze
the data and submit the proposals, we expect contract approvals to be
forthcoming in the near future but we can't predict exact times due to
changing environmental priorities, state budget considerations and project
logistics. However the increased proposal request rate suggests
substantial future work is available for the ETI/UNAM team."
