EENT Debuts New System at Premier Trucking Showcase
Energy & Engine Technology Corporation (OTC BB: EENT), a leading developer of auxiliary power generators for the long haul
trucking industry, today announced it is launching its newest auxiliary
power unit for the long haul trucking industry, the AXP Gen-a-Sys, at the
Mid-American Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky, this week.
EENT will be promoting its "Key to Cleaner Air" campaign. The AXP
Gen-a-Sys is the second auxiliary power unit (APU) that EENT will
manufacture. It follows the AXP1000, which is EENT's flagship product. Two
trucks, one installed with the AXP 1000 and the other with the AXP
Gen-a-Sys, will be on display at the show. EENT's Sr. V.P., Paul Baumann,
will also be on hand to answer questions.
EENT is planning to give away two free units during prize drawings at the
show. Bill Mack, the XM Radio personality, will be interviewing the two
unit winners live on his show, following the drawings.
Sr. VP, Paul Baumann, states: "I look forward to representing EENT and am
proud to be a member of the EENT team. We have good products, which have
the potential to help the trucking industry save both money and the
environment, so we have a winner from both an economic and social
standpoint."
EENT is a manufacturer of APU technology, which provides a secondary source
of electric power for semi-truck cabs for creature comforts like climate
control, television, and microwave ovens. The secondary source of power
allows drivers to turn off their engines rather than idling, which can
reduce fuel costs and cut down on diesel emissions significantly.
The Mid-American Trucking Show is the premier industry showcase each year
for the trucking industry. APU technology has become even more important
as fuel prices have increased dramatically in recent years and government
agencies at the local, state and federal level have implemented stricter
laws limiting diesel emissions.
EENT has been receiving attention from leaders nationwide for its APU
technology. The week of the show, Baumann met with Congressman Bob
Beauprez of Colorado as well as other local leaders. Their meeting
followed a press conference in February with Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski
and representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency who publicly
support APU technology.
