WJ Communications Expands Asia Operations
Growing Market Opportunities Drive WJ to Appoint Three New Members to Its Sales Management Team
WJ Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: WJCI), a
leading designer and supplier of RF solutions for the wireless
infrastructure and RFID reader markets, today announced that it has
significantly increased its presence in Asia.
Tony Liang has been appointed as the director of Asia Sales. Mr. Liang
comes to WJ with 18 years of experience in the telecom industry.
Previously he was vice president of APAC sales for AMI Semiconductor, Inc.
and director of sales at PMC-Sierra. He received his B.S. degree from
National Oceanic University of Taiwan and his M.S. degree from Golden Gate
University, San Francisco, CA.

Asia and accounts for more than half of WJ's current revenue. Asia remains
one of the fastest growing technology markets in the world for RF and
wireless solutions," said Haresh Patel, senior vice president of sales and

sales team. He brings extensive Asia sales experience in the semiconductor

In addition, Taine Wu and KM Choi have been appointed as country managers
for China, and Korea, respectively. Mr. Wu and Mr. Choi will report
directly to Tony Liang.
Taine Wu brings 18 years of experience in the semiconductor component
industry. Prior to joining WJ Communications, Mr. Wu was a regional sales
manager of South China for Fairchild Semiconductor. He received his degree
in Industrial Engineering Management from Chin-Yin Industrial College.
KM Choi joins WJ with more than 15 years of experience in sales and
marketing positions in the telecom industry. Prior to joining WJ
Communications, Mr. Choi served as market business development director for
Qualcomm. He received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic
Materials Engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, Korea.
