Iraqi Army Soldiers Detain Two After Small-Arms Fire Attack at Check Point,

BAGHDAD , Iraq - Soldiers from the 6th Iraqi Army Division and Multi-National Division - Baghdad detained five suspected terrorists during operations extending from the evening of March 8 and the morning of March 9.

Members of 1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 6th IA Div., were attacked by small-arms fire at a check point at approximately 10 p.m. in the Adhamiyah district of Baghdad. Iraqi Soldiers secured the area and detained two suspects.

Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, detained three suspected terrorists at approximately 12:20 a.m. March 10 in New Baghdad, after a traffic stop and search revealed possible bomb-making materials.
