LANHAM, Md. (EWORLDWIRE) Mar 10, 2006

Vocus, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand software for corporate communications and public relations, today announced that the Vermont Chamber of Commerce has selected Vocus public relations software to help manage and automate its public relations efforts. The Vermont Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit business organization dedicated to creating an economic climate conducive to business growth and the preservation of the Vermont quality of life.

Prior to using Vocus, Vicky Parra Tebbetts, vice president of communications for the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, manually kept track of media interactions, utilized media contact information scattered over a variety of sources and was not able to have a clear sense of the full impact of her PR activities. Tebbetts chose Vocus because it offered a solution that automated all her disparate PR functions and integrated them into one comprehensive software suite.

"We were tired of using disparate PR tools that had limited functionality," said Tebbetts. "Vocus enabled us to completely change the way we managed our PR efforts. Now, we can manage all of our media interactions, news monitoring and reporting in one integrated software suite. We are truly amazed by how much more productive we are with Vocus public relations software."

Vocus provides an integrated on-demand software suite for PR professionals. The Vocus on-demand software suite manages media and analyst relationships, interactive email campaigns, projects and news, files, documents and other collateral and online newsrooms. The software also analyzes media coverage and other PR information to provide real-time feedback on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and early intelligence on trends unfolding in the press.

"Vocus is modernizing the way PR professionals manage their communications efforts," said Rick Rudman, president and CEO of Vocus, Inc. "By integrating all essential PR functions into one comprehensive, all digital software suite, Vocus enables organizations to maximize productivity and deliver measurable results."
