PKG Artist Violet Nine a Hit on MySpace.com
Attracts 1500 New Fans in First Week
PKG Entertainment (OTC: PKGN) announced today
that in a digital pre-positioning of the band's debut CD release, Violet
Nine has garnered more than 1500 new fans in the first week on MySpace.com.
The uploading of three tracks from their soon-to-be released album, "Any
Wonder," is providing the band with an average of 200 new fans daily.
"The three tracks, 'Yell It Out,' 'All That Glitters' and 'Images of Me,'
are being very well received on MySpace," says Ben Consoli, lead singer of
Violet Nine. "It was the best way to get our music beyond the boundaries of
where we currently perform; it is a great avenue to getting the music
presented to more potential fans around the world quickly," he concludes.

According to John May, President of PKG and former National Marketing
Director of jazz legend Herbie Mann's label, Kokopelli Records, "Creating
an early informal digital presence for Violet Nine's premier release is a
critical piece in positioning this band for success in the retail
marketplace. Working diligently with Violet Nine's new manager,
entertainment industry veteran, Jon Goldwater, we are developing a strategy
to see that this band has the greatest opportunity for commercial
viability."
PKG CEO, Sandy Krolick says, "Exceeding our initial expectations for Violet
Nine, our focus now is on building whatever bridges are necessary to create
the optimum conditions for reception of their music and for monetizing the
commercial success of our band."
