"Conviction," the New Series From Emmy Award Winner and "Law and Order" Creator Dick Wolf, Features "Absolute Stunner" From the Band's "Universally Appealling" EP in Full Length Promo and Airing in Heavy Rotation on the Networks of NBC

The Gabe Dixon Band, in partnership with NBC's in-house marketing and advertising agency, The NBC Agency, has filmed a full-length promo featuring "All Will Be Well" off the "Live At World Cafe" EP for the new Dick Wolf show "Conviction." The new series premieres on NBC on Friday, March 3 at 10 PM ET/PT. The promo, spotlighting a new performance by the Nashville trio, is currently available to stream from NBC.com and will shortly be available as a free TV/video download from iTunes.

A shorter audio-only version of the promo is currently running on NBC, CNBC, MSNBC and USA Network; will run heavily on NBC during prime time Olympics coverage; and is available on www.nbc.com. The full-length version will also be featured in all National CineMedia theatres (Regal Cinemas, Cinemark and AMC) on thousands of screens across the US through February 23rd.

"The spirit of youthful ambition portrayed in 'Conviction' is captured so perfectly in this song by The Gabe Dixon Band," said Dean McFlicker, Director of Special Projects, The NBC Agency. "It's a memorable song that brings great sentiment to the promo spots."

"Conviction" is a fast-paced, character-oriented series focusing on the lives and loves of young assistant district attorneys in New York who are confronted with tough, emotional and high-profile cases that challenge their limited experience -- and force them to mature quickly or be overwhelmed. "Conviction" is a Wolf Films production in association with NBC Universal Television Studio. Dick Wolf, Walon Green ("Law & Order"), Rick Eid ("Law & Order: Trial by Jury," "The Guardian") and Peter Jankowski are the executive producers.

"All Will Be Well" is taken from The Gabe Dixon Band EP, "Live At World Cafe," which features in-studio and on-stage performances of originals penned by the band's leader and namesake, Gabe Dixon, including co-writes with Grammy® Award nominee Dan Wilson (Semisonic) and Grammy® Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick (Eric Clapton's "Change The World"). The Tennessean raves, "In the span of only six songs on his new EP, Dixon shows why he deserves to join the ranks of Jackson Browne and early Elton John in the pop pantheon. It isn't overstating things to say that no Nashville non-country artist has released anything this universally appealing in years," adding that the EP includes "three absolute stunners in 'Five More Hours,' 'All Will Be Well' and 'Ever After You'"; and music industry publication The Lefsetz Letter has called the band's version of "Hey Joe" on the EP "the best... since the one on (Jimi Hendrix's) 'Are You Experienced.'" In his mid-20's, Gabe Dixon has already earned praise for his work as a keyboardist and vocalist for artists as respected and varied as Paul McCartney, Loggins & Messina, and Alison Krauss.
