Rice To Travel to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E. February 20-24
Secretary of state plans to discuss Iran threat with Middle East leaders
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will travel to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates February 20-24 to meet with Middle East leaders and discuss regional issues including the strategic challenges posed by the Iranian regime as well as democratic reform efforts in the region.

Secretary Rice to Travel to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will travel to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates from February 20-24, 2006 for consultations with leaders on a broad array of bilateral and regional issues. While in the United Arab Emirates, the Secretary will also meet with representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council to further strengthen regional cooperation. Throughout her trip, the Secretary will be discussing efforts to advance the President's Freedom Agenda for the Middle East, as well as the strategic challenge to the world represented by the Iranian regime.
