Prada Spa Experience Launched Exclusively at The Ritz-Carlton Spas

Prada Beauty, a leader in scientifically advanced skin care, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, a name synonymous with luxury and award-winning service, have joined forces to create a unique spa experience. Beginning in January 2006, Prada Beauty treatments will be featured exclusively in all full-service Ritz-Carlton Spas in North America.

There are three key techniques that distinguish Prada Beauty treatments and make them exceptional from other facials. First the Prelude, a time of deep breathing and stretching, relaxes the spa guest, and allows the spa specialist to become in tune with the guest's level of being. Breath stimulates the immune system, the circulatory system and the lymphatic system. The guest becomes more receptive to the treatment, both physiologically and psychologically. Gentle stretching, inspired by myofascial techniques, releases tension from the neck, shoulders, decollete, cranium and face, creating maximum relaxation.

Secondly, the invigorating conventional massage, the third step of the treatment, hydrates, nourishes and moisturizes. These dual performance techniques are highly personalized -- the esthetician follows the key steps that identify the signature Prada facial, while enhancing each movement with their own finesse and expertise. Spa specialists are then able to find the flow and rhythm that's right for each guest, making the treatment a one-of-a-kind experience.

Finally, Prada Beauty treatments feature a specialized technique using effleurage movements and shiatsu points to encourage balance and drainage of the tissues. This technique is used during the application of Prada Beauty's Special Care Concentrates to enhance the absorption of the active ingredients, making the treatment more effective and long-lasting.
