Global Development & Environmental Resources Announces 30-Mile Louisiana Road Project Utilizing PZ-22X Enzyme

Global Development & Environmental Resources, Inc. (OTC: GDVE) announced today that the Company formed a joint venture for the development of a 30-mile road construction project located in Louisiana.

The project will utilize Global Development's stabilization enzymes, PZ-22X, as opposed to traditional road construction. This project is a significant development as it represents the first use of PZ-22X in the state of Louisiana and will be the first application of its kind to utilize PZ-22X as a viable alternative technology for road stabilization for future infrastructure rebuilding. In addition to the announced project, there are numerous other locations that have been identified and will be considered for similar infrastructure redevelopment in the area.

What is PZ-22X?

PZ-22X is a road stabilization solution. It is unique, soil-stabilization product with the potential to significantly reduce overall costs for road construction and maintenance. PZ-22X is a non-toxic formulation of enzyme-rich materials. When the solution is mixed with water and applied during compaction, enzymes act upon the soil's organic fines through a catalytic bonding process producing a strong cementation effect. The end result is a durable and water-resistant mix that can be used in any climatic environment as a sub-base or as a primary surface. Under normal conditions the bonding process is sufficiently cured within 72 hours to permit use by normal road traffic.

Global Development's CEO Phil Pritchard commented on the announcement, "We will be involved in this project through the application of our exclusive enzyme solution, PZ-22X, to a 30-mile stretch of road in rural Louisiana. This represents what I believe will be the first of many such projects in the reconstruction of this hurricane ravaged region. Our enzyme application (PZ-22X) offers a viable alternative to traditional construction methods and allows for significantly reduced costs, environmental sensitivity and shortened construction schedules. We look forward to getting the construction underway, as well as the opportunity to demonstrate our newest technologies to the numerous infrastructure development professionals that will be participating in and evaluating this project."
