DAC Technologies Announces Million Dollar Sales Month for January
DAC Technologies (OTC BB: DAAT) today
announced net sales for the month of January 2006 of $1,016,206 as compared
to $789,989 for January 2005. This is an increase of $226,217, or 29%.
David A. Collins, Chairman and CEO, stated, "This is the first time in
Company history that sales have exceeded $1,000,000 during the month of
January. Typically, January is one of our slower months. This growth has
come from sales of our existing products, and does not reflect sales of any
of the new products we are currently developing."
Collins also stated, "We recently attended trade shows in Fort Worth, Reno
and Louisville. We had large increases in orders at these shows over last
year. Our products sell extremely well at the retail level due to their
value to the retail customer, and this is reflected in the increases in
orders for our existing products. We introduced numerous new products at
these shows and they were very well received, though they are not shipping
yet. The Company is attending the annual SHOT Show in Las Vegas, February
9th through the 12th. This is the industry's largest trade show. We
anticipate having a great show and will be reporting on our results after
the show."
Collins further stated, "We recently received a commitment for a large
order from Wal-Mart to manufacture for direct import, a private label game
processing kit. The development of a direct import/private label program
for several of our larger customers, the continuing increases in sales of
our existing products, and the great response to our new products has us
excited about the prospects for 2006. We look forward to continuing our
rapid growth in both revenues and profits."
