DesignAdvance's CircuitSpace(TM) Chosen as DesignVision Award Finalist; User-Assisted Component Placement Technology Shortens Design Cycle for PCB Design

DesignAdvance(TM) Systems, Inc., an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) design-synthesis software developer, announced today that CircuitSpace(TM), its user-assisted Printed Circuit Board (PCB) component placement software, has been selected as an International Engineering Consortium (IEC) DesignVision Award finalist in the PCB Design Tool category.

The DesignVision Award Winners will be announced by the IEC Tuesday, February 7, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California. The awards ceremony is held in conjunction with DesignCon 2006, which runs from February 6-9 at the same location. The DesignVision Awards recognize technologies, applications, products, and services judged to be the most unique and beneficial to the industry.
