Mercator Risk Services Acquires Assets of Specialty Construction Broker Advocate Insurance Management
Mercator Risk Services, the newly formed
independent wholesale insurance broker, today announced the purchase of the
assets of Advocate Insurance Management (AIM) -- a specialty construction
broker. Richard Girden and Jeffrey Diers, the two principals of AIM, have
joined the Mercator team and will lead its Property Construction Practice.
Prior to forming AIM in 2005, Mr. Girden and Mr. Diers served as President
and Vice President, respectively, of RLI Construction. They each have over
twenty five years of industry experience focused entirely on construction.
