Produce Safety & Security International Announces Further Information Regarding January's Company Releases
Produce Safety & Security International Inc
(OTC: PDSC), a sanitation disinfectant process supplier to the food and
medical industries, announced further details regarding several Company
releases.
PDSC announced an initiative, establishing distributorships and
dealerships, domestic and international, for its patented and
EPA-registered Spherequat product line, including the Medic-Kleen,
RTU 2525-200 and the Spherequat 1000, 6400, and 8600. Once in place, PDSC
believes the annual revenues for the distribution program products to be
valued at $ 9,875,000.
PDSC's EPA-registered Spherequat products remove Bacteria, Black Mold and
Food Borne Illness Carriers from fresh produce. These pathogens have been
linked to illness, infection, birth defects, and even death.

PDSC also announced the test results of its ozone system, which verified
significant removal of pesticide residue during the packing process. The
Company feels the product will greatly increase the Company's market
penetration and could result in additional annual revenues exceeding
$8,500,000.
Pesticides are inherently toxic and can lead to sickness, cancer, birth
defects, and even death, if not removed properly from produce. Pesticide
issues have been reported, specifically with Santa Sweets Grape Tomatoes,
concerning several retail chains, including Wal-Mart and Publix.
Additionally, as pesticides are monitored and regulated by the FDA and
other agencies, it is in these retailers' best interests to push for the
implementation of a cost effective pesticide removal method at the packing
level.
PDSC believes its Ozone system to be the best option. The first full-scale
use of this technology will occur at PDSC's Prescott, AZ, distribution
center, focusing on the food service industries in Nevada, Arizona and
Southern California.
The Company negotiated agreements with two ozone manufacturers for ozone
misting units and ozone air units for use in the retail produce
departments, as well. Scheduled for March 1, 2006 delivery and designed to
meet the demand of thousands of stores. PDSC believes this initiative could
be valued at $6,000,000 annually.
"January was a fantastic way to start 2006. We made three significant
announcements, regarding potential revenues from three new agreements. We
trust we are setting a solid foundation and we believe we can continue the
momentum through the year," stated Clarence W. Karney, PDSC CEO.
