Cast Iron Systems Welcomes Ken Comee as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations

Comee Brings Over 20 Years of Sales and Operations Experience to the Next Stage of Growth

Cast Iron Systems, the fastest growing vendor of integration appliances, announced today the appointment of Ken Comee to the position of executive vice president, worldwide field operations. Mr. Comee brings to this role over 20 years of sales and operational expertise at global technology companies, including CollabNet, Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) and Amdahl.

Prior to joining Cast Iron, Mr. Comee was vice president of worldwide field operations at CollabNet, where he grew the company's revenue by over 400% while doubling the size of the customer base each year. Under Comee's leadership, CollabNet grew from an early stage startup to the global market leader in on-demand distributed software development solutions.

Previously, Comee served as Division Vice President of North America Sales at Parametric Technology Corp (PTC). In this role, he led a 220-person team that grew revenue to over $170M million. Mr. Comee also spent 10 years at Amdahl Corporation, where he held executive level positions in both the US and Europe. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University and an MBA from London Business School.
