ISR Group, LLC today announced the formation of its Emergency Response Services (ERS) which will utilize a range of unmanned vehicle systems and ground-based sensors in support of state-Level emergency management agencies and law enforcement agencies.

SAVANNAH, Tenn. (EWORLDWIRE) Jan 19, 2006

The ISR Group, based in Savannah, Tenn., is offering a first of its kind service to state-level emergency management and law enforcement agencies. The company's emergency response services will provide unmanned aerial systems, unmanned ground systems and ground-based sensors to collect still imagery, streaming video, environmental samples and other situational awareness information during disasters, mass-casualty and WMD events and disseminate the data to state-level emergency management and law enforcement agencies.

In addition to its support of state-level EMAs and LEAs during disaster and mass-casualty events, the ISR Group's emergency response services will routinely participate in the states' border patrol operations and annual disaster drills. Other mission areas include search and rescue, quarantine enforcement, surveillance of high risk infrastructures and augmentation of state national guard capabilities and assets.

The key elements of the ISR Group's emergency response services are:

- Qualified unmanned vehicle systems personnel trained to operate multi-tiered monitoring and data collection systems in nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) environments

- Small unmanned aerial vehicle systems having a 10 Km range and two hour endurance with payload packages for day and night video imagery and environmental sampling

- Unmanned ground vehicle systems with payload packages for imagery and data collection in uninhabitable areas, buildings and confined spaces

- Unattended ground sensors to monitor and provide early warning of unauthorized activities in excluded zones and closed areas

- Ground control sStations and ancillary equipment to link data and streaming video to emergency management agency command posts via SATCOM or wired connections

Upon notification by a client, the company's emergency response services will mobilize within two hours, with rapid deployment by state Air National Guard assets if needed. Once onsite, the ISR Group's ERS is fully self-contained to conduct operations for one week without resupply. In addition to the unmanned vehicles and ground-based sensors, the ERS is deployed with satellite communications equipment, a mobile command post with sleeping accommodations, personnel protective gear for NBC environments and maintenance equipment with spare parts to support the emergency response services' activities.
