New Study Finds Insurance Carriers Optimistic About the Future of Worksite/Voluntary Benefits

Eastbridge Consulting Group Inc. has published a new Frontline Report entitled, The Worksite/Voluntary Industry Confidence Index. This annual report, which includes responses from 63 different organizations involved in this market (carriers, third-party administrators, and brokers), examines each participant's opinions on the worksite/voluntary industry's outlook for 2006.

Overall, almost 70 percent of respondents believe that employees will be more enthusiastic about voluntary benefits 12 months from now. And half believe that these employees will keep their policies longer, as evidenced by the percentage indicating that current persistency levels and retention for voluntary business will improve slightly in the near future.

The report, The Worksite/Voluntary Industry Confidence Index, also examines the outlook for voluntary sales, profitability, and premium rates over the next 12 months.
