The Secret Is Out: The Veronicas Are Set to Release Debut Album on Sire Records February 14; Headlining Tour Starts January 28 Across America

Identical twin sisters with an edgy, free-spirited sound, pop-rock duo The Veronicas will set out on their first headlining tour across America, starting January 28 in Sacramento, CA. In connection with the release of their debut album "The Secret Life Of...," hitting stores February 14 on Sire Records, the band will also make a stop in New York City playing at the Avalon on the day of release.

Jess and Lisa Origliasso blend natural born singing and songwriting talent, looks to kill and a lifetime of performing experience to create an irresistible entertainment experience. Performing since the age of five, they draw their musical inspiration from rock, hip-hop and R&B, creating a distinctive musical blend entirely their own. It's an instantly appealing sound showcased on "The Secret Life Of ..." featuring such standout tracks as "Revolution," "Mouth Shut," "When It All Falls Apart," "Everything I'm Not" and "4ever."

The Veronicas took a warm-up sprint through the States late last year when they opened a string of high-profile dates for Ryan Cabrera. Along the way they earned a lion's share of critical raves: MTV News highlighted them on a "You Hear It First" segment and they were singled out as Breaker Artists by the AOL Music and Radio Networks. Teen Vogue spotlighted The Veronicas in a People Are Talking About feature raving "'The Secret Life Of...' is an album full of rock ballads that manage to be both sweet and vicious, a killer combo." The album is already double platinum in their home country of Australia. "The Secret Life Of..." has steadily remained in the top 20 album charts for four months straight since its release in October. The Veronicas were also nominated for the coveted Aria Award's Breakthrough Artist Single for their platinum single "4ever."

In a perfect match up, The Veronicas sing the title track of the WB's sisterly drama "Related." The show has also featured songs off their debut album. Jess and Lisa will make their TV acting debut on "Related," performing as The Veronicas on an episode airing February 6.
