Property Casualty Insurers Association of America Appoints New Member to Board
The Property Casualty Insurers Association of
America (PCI) elected Mory Katz to its Board during its Annual Meeting held
in Chicago. Mr. Katz is chairman and chief executive officer of the
Meriden, CT headquartered Response Insurance.
"PCI is the nation's premier insurer trade association," said Mr. Katz.
"I'm looking forward to working with my colleagues in advocating for sound
public policies that foster a healthy and competitive insurance marketplace
that benefit both the industry and our customers."
Mr. Katz also serves on the Board of Directors of the Insurance Institute
for Highway Safety, one of the nation's most influential safety
organizations, best known to the public for conducting crash tests to rate
vehicles, researching traffic safety and driver behavior, and for their
famous Crash Test Dummies.
Response Insurance is a national direct-to-the-consumer auto insurer. The
Response Insurance Group was formed in 1996 and includes Response
Insurance, Connecticut Life & Casualty, and their educator-specific
