Deftones to Headline Taste Of Chaos Tour 2006
New Album Expected This Spring
Heavy rock iconoclasts Deftones will headline
this year's Taste Of Chaos Tour
which will be the loudest and best T.O.C. yet. Also joining the bill will
be Story of the Year, Atreyu, Thrice, Thursday, As I Lay Dying, Dredg,
Silverstein and Funeral For A Friend, making this one of the most exciting
and anticipated multi-artist package tours of the year.
Deftones are currently putting the finishing touches on their new studio
album and will take on this year's T.O.C. event, which will rumble through
North America and Canada starting in San Diego February 16 and ending in
Montreal April 15. See dates listed below. Details of new Deftones album
will be revealed shortly.
For the past decade, Deftones have remained one of modern rock's most
consistently innovative and influential musical forces: "The Deftones
offered dark, cryptic ruminations with melodies arising out of the
hard-rock murk. They're perfecting a new hard-rock variation." -- Jon
Pareles/New York Times
"Like Metallica, Deftones make uncompromising music that crosses over while
refusing to pander." -- Spin
