Iraqi Soldiers, MNDCS Catch Terrorists in South Diwaniyah Province
CAMP ECHO , Iraq - Iraqi Soldiers from 8th Iraqi Army Division supported by Multinational Division Central-South Soldiers detained four suspected terrorists Jan. 10 in the Diwaniyah province.
The Soldiers conducted a cordon and search operation in a small village in the southern part of Diwaniyah province. Two terrorists were killed and four were detained during the operation.
One MNDCS soldier was wounded during the operation. He was immediately transported to a Coalition Forces medical facility. His condition is stable. The Soldier's next of kin was informed about incident.
The terrorists are suspected of murder, kidnapping and selling drugs.
