XA Produces the Opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman

XA, Inc., (XA) (OTC BB: XAIN), a major national event marketing firm that serves many Fortune 500 companies, reports that it has been selected by The Ritz-Carlton as their event partner for the eagerly anticipated opening of the $500 million, 365-room property located on pristine Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. The opening events will take place on January 6th and 7th on the resort's property for a wealth of international media and celebrities.

XA will design and produce a weekend of events that encapsulates the brand essence of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. These events will create a unique experience that will immerse guests in its world-class brand and style and showcase the new property.

XA will co-ordinate and produce the evening events at the resort. The evening of the January 6th will feature a black tie dinner with entertainment by renowned performer Tony Bennett. The evening of the January 7th will be a more casual beach attire event with an intimate performance by Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow. XA has also sourced and is working with the Island's local entertainment in keeping with the culture and flavor of Grand Cayman: a 100-piece children's choir will perform prior to Sheryl Crow, as well as local DJs and bands.

String Theory will also be featured, a hybrid performance of kinetic components featuring sonic sculpture, choreography, dance and original music. They will be performing at the Grammy Awards in 2006.

"We are thrilled to open this resort in time for the 2005-2006 season," said Jean Cohen, vice president and general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. "Our Ritz-Carlton customers have long awaited this luxury property on the beautiful and affluent island of Grand Cayman. We are also eager to open our doors to residents of the island."

Marketers spent $152 billion in event marketing in 2003, up about 15% since 2002. In 2003, budgets for event marketing reached an average of $901,935, according to PROMO's 2004 Event Marketing Study. (Source: PROMO Magazine, January 1, 2005)
