TVN Scores Deal With ESPN/ABC-Disney Nets
VOD Content To Be Distributed Over TVN's ADONISS Platform
- TVN Entertainment today announced that it has
signed a VOD Services Agreement with ESPN/ABC-Disney Media Networks, which
includes providing distribution and advanced asset management services for
certain VOD packages offered by the stable of Cable and Broadcast Networks.
The agreement also takes advantage of TVNow, TVN's Rapid Turnaround
Service, provisioning a VOD asset from news programs, sporting events or
other shows within hours of the original airing.
The slate of VOD programs, which include ESPN Networks, ABC News, ABC
Family, Radio Disney, Jetix, Soapography, Disney Channel and Toon Disney,
are being distributed by TVN to all Verizon FiOs customers across the
Telco's growing VOD footprint. The deal includes specialized VOD menu
conversion and asset management.
