Hertz Puts 'Fun' Into Car Rental by Featuring a Wide Selection of Reservable Sporty Vehicles

Hertz Now Offers New Sports Car, Convertible and SUV options, Featuring SIRIUS(R) Satellite Radio

Further enhancing its position as the leader at U.S. airports in the leisure car rental market, Hertz has launched the Hertz Fun Collection, featuring vehicles tailor-made for travelers seeking exciting driving experiences. Based upon customer feedback and research on the types of vehicles today's travelers enjoy driving, the Hertz Fun Collection features convertibles including the Ford Mustang, Mazda Miata, Toyota Solara, PT Cruiser and Chrysler Sebring; coupes/roadsters including Ford Mustang (hard-top), PT Cruiser, Chevy HHR and Nissan 350Z; and SUVs such as the Ford Escape XLT Sport, Jeep Wrangler, Nissan Murano and Hummer H3. Adding more entertainment to the driving experience, Hertz Fun Collection vehicles feature SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI)*. As with vehicles in the Hertz Prestige Collection and Hertz's Brand and Model Reservability Program, every brand and model in the Hertz Fun Collection is specifically reserved and guaranteed.

With the addition of the Fun Collection vehicles, Hertz now offers 35 models that can be specifically reserved, ranging from mid-size to luxury cars, convertibles to SUVs and is the only nationwide car rentalcompany able to guarantee the delivery of a specific make and model vehicle at the time of reservation.

Customers can reserve Fun Collection vehicles beginning December 1, 2005, for rental beginning January 5, 2006. More than 8,000 Fun Collection vehicles will be available at airport locations in sun and ski destinations across North America with the Fun Collection premiering in the following locations:

Now in its fifth year, the exclusive Prestige Collection program combines the ability to select from the finest luxury and performance vehicles including Audi A6, Cadillac Escalade, Hummer H2, Infiniti QX56, Jaguar S type, Land Rover L3, Volvo S80 and many others, with an enhanced set of customer services. In addition to these fine vehicles, Hertz's #1 Club and #1 Club Gold members can specifically reserve the Mazda6, Ford Taurus, Toyota Camry, and Ford Explorer whenever they rent for weekend or weekly leisure purposes.

*Satellite radio service is only available within the continental United States; Hertz vehicles in Hawaii will not feature SIRIUS.
