Digicel Introduces New Tagline That Reinforces Its Commitment to Exceeding Customer Expectations
"Expect More, Get More" Reflects a Company Wide Initiative to Strengthen Customer Relationships
Digicel Group, the fastest growing mobile
telecommunications company in the Caribbean, today introduced a bold new
brand tagline, "Expect More, Get More," across its expanding network of
operations. The new tagline reflects the company's customer centric
operating principles and continued commitment to customer satisfaction that
has been the hallmark of its phenomenal success over the past four years.
The introduction of the tagline and company wide initiative for Digicel
comes at a time of significant growth for the dynamic company. It is
launching in three new markets this week: Anguilla, Bermuda and St. Kitts &
Nevis. Digicel expects to operate in 15 countries by the end of 2005
covering a total population of 14 million people as part of it mission to
create a seamless pan-Caribbean network.

According to Digicel Group's Director of Marketing, Mr. Ben Atherton: "As
we grow in the Caribbean and beyond, Digicel is continuing to transform
mobile telecommunications and set new standards for the mobile experience.
Expect More, Get More signifies a personal promise to exceed our current
and future customers' expectations in mobile service."
Digicel was the first to offer a number of new and innovative products and
services in the Caribbean including Closed User Groups, Rollover Minutes
where unused minutes are carried over to the next month, Call Me which
allows customers to stay in touch even when credit is low, Digicel's
signature per-second billing, and prepaid and postpaid roaming. The
company's extensive roaming network includes 220 roaming partners in over
100 countries.
With investments in the region approaching US$1 billion, Digicel has built
the infrastructure to provide nearly 100 percent network coverage
throughout its countries of operation bringing telecommunication services
to local and rural residents that never before had a viable wireless option
with the incumbent provider.
As one of the most admired brands in the region, Digicel builds strong ties
with its customers through its active participation in cultural and social
initiatives in local communities. In November 2005 Digicel recorded a
milestone of 1.37 million subscribers in Jamaica after just four years of
operation while at the same time it continues to strengthen its footprint
in the region through recent acquisitions and new licenses. Digicel enjoys
an average 62% market share across its operations and employs up to 1500
people in the region.
