Steven E. Westfall Named President of EaglePicher Technologies, LLC

Accounting Function Moved to Joplin, Missouri

EaglePicher Technologies, LLC today announced that Steven E. Westfall has been appointed President. Mr. Westfall has P&L accountability for the businesses that comprise the division including: EaglePicher Defense and Space, EaglePicher Pharmaceutical (where he continues as President), EaglePicher Medical Energy Products, EaglePicher Boron, EaglePicher Distributed Products and the EaglePicher Horizon Joint Venture. As a result of his expanded role, Mr. Westfall will now have responsibility for functional leadership for EaglePicher Technologies as well, including Legal and Human Resources.

Mr. Westfall is located in Joplin, Missouri, EaglePicher's premier U.S. location for its Defense and Space Business and the divisional headquarters for EaglePicher Technologies. He reports to Grant T. Hollett, Jr. RADM, U.S. Navy, retired, Chairman of the Board and CEO EaglePicher Technologies, LLC.

Previously Mr. Westfall was Chief Operating Officer for EaglePicher Technologies. Prior to that he had been Executive Vice President and General Manager, EaglePicher Technologies, LLC and President of EaglePicher Pharmaceutical Services. He held previous positions at EaglePicher including President, Horizon Batteries, LLC (a joint venture), Vice President and General Manager EaglePicher Technologies, LLC Specialty Materials Business Unit, and Director of Business Operations, EaglePicher Technologies, LLC.

Mr. Westfall holds a Masters of Business Administration/MBA and a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. He serves as Chairman of the Board for EaglePicher Pharmaceutical Services and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Diehl & EaglePicher Joint Venture, Germany.

In a related move, EaglePicher Technologies, LLC has also announced that it is moving its accounting function to Joplin, Missouri. The majority of transactional accounting across the division will now be centralized from the Joplin facility.
