Crossfire War: Sina - 1 Surveillance Satellite Operational

Night Watch: TEHRAN - The Iranian satellite, Sina - 1 launched by Russia last month is indeed operational and my be primarily for surveillance. A second satellite, built by Iran is to be launched in about two months and may be designed to operate in tandem with the first. [Persian Journal]
These are by no means satellites for research and telecommunications as Tehran has sometimes stated. Instead they both will have military applications.
