Crossfire War: Third Force Manisfestation of Implosion - Advantage Islamabad

TEHRAN WATCH: South Asia Theatre; New Dehli - Internecine Warfare - People's Agitation Threat by Communist Party - Third Force Manisfestation of Implosion - Advantage Islamabad

Night Watch: LUCKNOW - The leader of the Communist Party (Marxist) of India, General Secretary Prakash Karat has given New Delhi's current administration a deadline. He demands that by November 24 they "come clean on Iran issues" or India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will face his party's wrath in the form of a "people's agitation." [IRNA]

It seems that for purely opposition reasons he was against India's vote against Tehran's nuclear program when the vote was taken at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, claiming that it was done under the influence of the United States. Obviously Karat is unaware that quite a bit of Iran's weaponry is targeted at India, to prepare the way for Tehran-Islamabad's projected development of at least northern India, revolving around the planned pipeline.

Later this month this dispute could explode, with India's Parliament beginning its winter session on the 23rd and the 24th is the next scheduled meeting of the IAEA in Vienna.

General Secretary Karat is by no means an isolated voice in his demand. Others have also advocated for a "third force" in national politics and a more independent foreign policy, especially Mulayam Singh of the Samajwadi Party. That of course will reduce Allied support when India comes under more intense pressure in Kashmir, which could force New Delhi to attack militant bases in Pakistan's part of the disputed territory. This internal state of chaos is being monitored carefully not only in Islamabad but also in Dhaka, Tehran and Kabul. They are all poised to assist Pakistan in the next all out war. In Afghanistan's case some of the warlords could be eager to join in the spoils.

The rally in Lucknow was attended by representatives of several parties: Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Samajwadi Party, Forward Block and the Rashtriya Socialist Party.
