Knobias, Inc. Announces Advanced Nutraceuticals Inc. as the SPOT of the Week in Its Small-Cap ClipReport

Knobias, Inc. (OTC BB: KNBS) announced today that it has selected Advanced Nutraceuticals Inc. (OTC BB: ANII) as the SPOT of the week in the Knobias Small-Cap "ClipReport."

Advanced Nutraceuticals Inc. via its one subsidiary, Bactolac Pharmaceutical, is engaged in the formulation, manufacturing, coating and packaging of encapsulated and compressed tablets and powder blended vitamins and related nutritional supplements. Recent investments in high-tech lab equipment, high speed manufacturing equipment, in-house thin film coating equipment and flexible packaging equipment have resulted in faster turnaround times and greater control of the quality and production processes.

The Bulls say ...

-Value in Disguise? ANII's publicly reported financial history can, at times, send mixed signals. In March 2004, ANII divested its unprofitable subsidiary, ANI Pharmaceuticals. Since then, ANII's financial performance has been somewhat clouded by historical results and lingering "discontinued op" figures. As the smoke clears, ANII begins to look more like a company with healthy margins, growing fundamentals and significant expansion strategies. Stop trying to decipher the future and look at the present. For the trailing 12-months ANII has reported $18.5M in revs; $0.59 EPS, $17.1M shareholder equity. Related key ratios: Price/Sales 0.89 (low); Price/Earnings 6.4 (low); Book Value/Share $3.87 (trading below book).

The Bears say ...

-What do Shareholders Really Think? Someone at ANII thinks it's a good idea to borrow $4M to buyback a good chunk @ $4.25. Obviously many shareholders felt it was "more than fair" as the offer was oversubscribed nearly 3-fold. No officer or director "directly" tendered shares, but PR/CEO Gregory Pusey registered 670K indirectly held shares for sale in April 2005, and has sold or tendered some 806K shares since.
