Automotive Specialty Concepts (AMVS) Announces Major Success at the 2005 NMSDC Conference in Dallas

  Share With Friends

Automotive Specialty Concepts (OTC: AMVS) announced today that presentations October 23 through October 26, 2005 at the annual National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) conference in Dallas, Texas were quite successful.

Dexter Morrison, the sales and marketing director, said, "We had considerable interest from consumer-oriented, major corporations. They are interested in discussing the use of our light switch plate cover for promotions -- in a number of industries including retail oil and gas companies, banking, cereals, beverage (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and others."

The conference was attended by well-known corporations including Bank of America, Coca Cola, Conoco Philips, Shell, Miller Brewing, US Bank and other members of the Fortune 500.

"We also were asked by the Major League Baseball Association to present a special anti-drug proposal using our light-switch covers, which we believe is partially motivated by the recent steroid controversy in Congress. We are also working to prepare a similar proposal to the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) in an effort to counter the raise of steroid use at middle, high school and college levels." http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp

"In addition we made contact with Corporate Express which expressed initial interest in helping us provide light-switch plate cover advertising solutions for their clients." http://www.cexp.com/about.html

"And we are now producing a number of prototypes based on requests received at the NMSDC conference."

Mr. Morrison continued, "I was pleased to hear comments such as, 'I've never seen anything like this before,' and 'It's good to finally see something new at these shows.'"
