Capel Rugs Enters Texas Market: Dallas Design Community Recognized
Capel Rugs has launched the
Designer-of-the-Month Program, a showcase of emerging and established
designers in the Dallas-area. In a collaborative effort with the North
Dallas Design District, a collective vignette, featuring a designer
selected rug and interpreted furniture display, will be unveiled each month
during the district-wide First Saturday celebration. Designer vignettes
will be on display throughout Nov. and Dec.

"We're excited to be a part of Texas' dynamic design community. Hosting
this showcase is a celebration of talent," says Ron Capel, Capel
Incorporated.
The featured designer in Nov. is Kathy Dora of KD Designs. Inspired by the
French and Italian countryside, Dora combines rustic and natural accents
with refined prints and patterns. Her design results in enveloping,
multi-layered atmospheres where visitors are cradled in both comfort and
refinement.
"Rugs often form the foundation of my design inspiration. Capel's selection
of varied and unique rugs enables me to do what I'm focused on as an
interior designer: shaping rooms, shifting moods and creating drama," said
Kathy Dora, principal, KD Interiors.
Capel Rugs/Dallas' 22,000 sq. ft. showroom is open-to-the-public and
located in the heart of the North Dallas Design District at 4205 McEwen
Road, midway at McEwen. For Texans outside of Dallas, Capel Rugs are
available online at www.capelrugs.com.
