Westbrook Technologies Signs Two New Resellers in Connecticut and California, Increasing Market Reach Coast-to-Coast
Connecticut Business Systems and ASTRO Business Technologies Add Westbrook's Fortis Document Management Software to Their Portfolio
Westbrook Technologies, a leader in enterprise
document management software for the mid-market and one of Deloitte and
Touche's 2005 "Fast 50" technology companies in Connecticut, today
announced the addition of two new resellers to its elite Partner program.
Connecticut Business Systems of Rocky Hill, CT and ASTRO Business
Technologies of Livermore, CA will increase Westbrook's geographical reach
and address the growing demand for the Company's document management
solutions.
Westbrook's elite Partner program is comprised of a select group of
resellers trained to provide localized sales and service of the Company's
document management product suite. Two-thousand four was a milestone year
for Westbrook Technologies' Partner program with the Company's top 10
Partners increasing sales by 40 percent. Within that distinguished
category, three of the top Partners increased sales by a remarkable 1,000
percent.
Connecticut Business Systems (CBS) is a digital imaging solutions company
and subsidiary of Global Imaging Systems, a nationwide provider of office
imaging solutions. CBS markets a full line of digital imaging solutions
such as high-speed duplicators, fax machines and printers; electronic
presentation equipment; video conferencing equipment; and computer hardware
and software. They support the Savin, Ricoh and Riso duplicator product
lines with offices in White Plains, NY, Pittsfield, MA and Springfield, MA.
CBS has won numerous sales awards and has been recognized for the past
seven years for service excellence from Ricoh.
Document solutions service provider ASTRO Business Technologies ("ASTRO")
brings 30 years of experience serving businesses in the greater San
Francisco Bay area and Northern California to Westbrook's Partner program.
ASTRO offers best-of-breed copier/printer equipment, facsimile machines,
supplies, integrated software solutions (including EDM, print management
and Variable Data Printing), consulting and integration services and "Day
2" support.
"We're very excited about our recent partnership with Westbrook
Technologies. The company is a high quality solutions provider that is a
perfect fit for CBS. The partnership will allow CBS to close the loop for
our clients with the ability to provide the MFP scanning devices as well as
helping manage the content on their networks. This is a big win for our
clients and CBS," said Wilson Vega, President of Connecticut Business
Systems.
Paul Thompson, President and CEO of ASTRO Business Technologies added, "Our
customers look to us for complete office imaging solutions, and adding
Fortis to our portfolio strengthens the quality of our product offerings.
Westbrook has a strong product suite, a solid reputation in the industry
and a forward-thinking team committed to delivering the best document
management solutions. We are thrilled to be part of Westbrook's elite
Partner team."
"These new partnerships will accelerate the delivery of our document
management software to customers from coast to coast and further expand the
reach of our products nationwide," said Paul Lord, Westbrook Technologies'
President and CEO. "This year we have added more quality Partners like CBS
and ASTRO than in any other year. This success can be attributed to the
core principle of our elite Partner program which is the commitment of an
extremely focused segmentation of our geographical and vertical markets so
that we never overpopulate the channel, thereby avoiding channel conflict.
Both CBS and ASTRO have extensive experience serving their large customer
base and we look forward to working closely with both companies as they
implement Westbrook's document management and workflow solutions into their
installed base, as well as making them more competitive in new sales
situations. Both of these Partners show great potential for the future."
