Hyatt Regency Wind Watch Announces Completion of Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
$10 Million Update of Guestrooms and Lobby; Wireless Internet Now Available in Guestrooms and Public Spaces Throughout Hotel
Hyatt Regency Wind Watch unveiled the
completion of its $10.2 million renovation campaign today, making it one of
the premier properties on Long Island.
The renovation project included all of the hotel's 358 guestrooms, baths
and suites along with the guestroom corridors, the hotel's lobby area and
technology upgrades.
"We look forward to welcoming back former guests and inviting new
customers to experience the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch. The transformation
has been spectacular and we are thrilled to offer a beautiful new hotel.
Our newly appointed guestrooms combined with the additional enhancements we
made during the renovation offer guests a hotel product that is second to
none in the area," said Mark Pardue, general manager, Hyatt Regency Wind
Watch.

The guestrooms have been completely refurbished to capture a contemporary
residential decor featuring an earth tone color palette, rich wood and
leather furnishings, elegant accessories and artwork. Each guestroom now
offers Hyatt's Grand Bed, featuring a Sealy Posturepedic ® 720 Series
thick pillow top mattress, triple sheeting, fluffy duvet and oversized down
pillows for a great night's rest. A comfortable casual chair and leather
ottoman with adjacent side table and reading lamp provide relaxation in
absolute comfort. An oversized desk with built-in electrical outlets and
the addition of wireless Internet access offer guests the ability to stay
productive while traveling.
The guestroom baths were completely updated to complement the guestroom.
The mahogany vanity with imported granite top provides ample storage for
towels and amenities. An elegantly framed mirror and decorative light
fixture offers enhanced lighting and visibility. The bathrooms are
appointed with high-end Speakman showerheads for an invigorating shower
experience. Imported marble tile flooring and shower surrounds, along with
new wall coverings complete the bathroom design.
Hyatt Regency Wind Watch's distinctive lobby was updated with new seating
areas, a dramatic floor-to-ceiling framed mirror feature and artwork
depicting the resort-like feel of the property. A customer-friendly
concierge desk was created to better serve guests' needs, while wireless
Internet has been expanded to all public areas in order for guests to stay
connected.
In addition to the hotel's flexible meeting space, the new Terrace Ballroom
boasts a two-story soaring atrium, ideal for both corporate and social
functions.
Located in a stunning resort-like setting, the 360-room Hyatt Regency Wind
Watch offers the best of both worlds with access to New York City and all
of Long Island as a great getaway location. Hyatt Regency Wind Watch
caters to group and conference attendees with flexible spaces,
state-of-the-art facilities and audio-visual support featuring both wired
and wireless Internet connections. With over 20,000 square feet of
meeting space, including 16 meeting rooms, Hyatt Regency Wind Watch Long
Island offers exquisite cuisine and outstanding entertainment options.
For both leisure and business travelers, the hotel offers a health club and
indoor/outdoor pool facilities. Adjacent to the hotel is the 18-hole,
par-71 Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club, offering one of Long Island's
most unique and challenging golf courses.
